LOVE OF BEAUTY.

It is easy to forget with the use of the phone camera the artistry behind photography. Robert Mapplethorpe established this medium as part of the contemporary art world a la par with painting, sculpture, and other media and integrating it as an expressive art form during the '80s.

My love for photography, for bringing ideas to life, conceptualizing images, and telling stories through a creative lens, initially began as an experiment to communicate the brand message when I was building TAVI Beauty.

I immediately fell in love with portraiture, something so personal and intimate about the relationship between the subject and the camera, and I crave that type of intimacy. A creative conversation, an exchange of energy that enables a universal language by visually allowing us to say how much love and respect we have for each other.

I learned about composition, aperture, ISO, and all of the technical aspects of photography later on but what never changed is my desire to convey with the world how I see the beauty in others. The energy behind my photography remains the same. As well as my philosophy, "We all are beautiful in our own unique way." And the deeper and stronger we grow, just like the trees, our beauty becomes more personal and less subjective to society's opinions, rooted in something bigger that can only be understood by those who are willing to shatter any preconceived ideas of what beauty is.
